Yunda Outdoor Lighting Holds Annual Fire Drill
Recently, Yunda Outdoor Lighting successfully conducted its annual fire drill, with all employees actively participating. This comprehensive drill was designed to reinforce fire safety protocols and ensure every staff member is well-prepared for emergency situations.
The drill started with a simulated fire alarm. As the alarm blared, employees promptly evacuated along designated routes, covering their mouths and noses with hands or cloths to avoid inhaling “smoke” from the simulation devices. The evacuation was orderly, with each department following the preset escape routes, and all employees gathered in the open area as required within a short time.
Subsequently, professional instructors, together with the company’s security team, demonstrated the correct use of fire extinguishers and fire hoses. They explained the types of fires each equipment is suitable for and the step-by-step operation methods, such as the “PASS” technique for fire extinguishers—Pull, Aim, Squeeze, and Sweep. Employees then took turns practicing, gaining hands-on experience in putting out simulated fires.
Some employees also tried operating the fire hoses, learning how to handle the water pressure and aim at the fire source. During the process, it was emphasized that products like the company’s wall lights, lawn lights, and garden lights, which are made of die-casting aluminum , should be kept away from fire sources in daily storage and production to prevent accidents.
This fire drill not only enhanced employees' fire safety awareness but also improved their emergency response skills.
