As residential landscape design increasingly pursues the integration of natural aesthetics and comfortable night-time experience, outdoor lighting plays a pivotal role in shaping the overall atmosphere of private courtyards. The fully completed Yonghui private courtyard project adopts well-matched lawn light, stake-in light and spot light to construct a layered, tranquil oriental-style garden night-scape for the residential space.

This courtyard integrates classic oriental gardening elements, including natural rock formations, flowering shrubs, lush lawns and traditional wooden pavilion structures. Rejecting the dazzling effect caused by excessive light stacking, the lighting scheme makes differentiated luminaire deployment. Low-profile cylindrical lawn light are arranged along walkways for basic path lighting; stake-in light are concealed among plant clusters to wash foliage and ground vegetation; spot light are applied to accent rockery, tree trunks and wooden pavilion structure to highlight texture and outline. With streamlined compact silhouettes, all fixtures blend subtly into green vegetation during daytime without interfering with the original garden visual layout. After dusk, soft warm-toned light gently spreads out, creating multi-dimension lighting layers across the whole courtyard.

These fixtures deliver targeted illumination for different zones to secure pedestrian safety while shaping artistic ambiance. Engineered for real-world outdoor conditions, they maintain stable long-term performance under fluctuating temperature and humidity, combining ornamental landscaping value and solid engineering reliability.

This case showcases restrained, thoughtful outdoor lighting application for oriental private courtyards. It effectively reduces unwanted light pollution, respects the intrinsic spatial logic of the garden, and creates an artistic, cozy night-living environment for end users.
